How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your BudgetReady account and associated data, email hello@budgetready.app from the email linked to your account with the subject line "Delete my account".
Please include your account email address in the message to help us verify your identity and process your request promptly.
⚠️ Important: Active Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
To avoid future charges, you must cancel your subscription through:
- Google Play: Go to your Google Play subscriptions settings
- Apple App Store: Go to your Apple App Store subscriptions menu
Data Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Account profile - Your user profile and account information
- Authentication credentials - Sign-in credentials and authentication tokens
- Usage data - App usage statistics and interaction history
- Content associated with your account - Including:
- Purchase tracking data (desired purchases, purchase history)
- Income information and savings goals
- Onboarding responses
- Streak data and progress information
- User feedback and communications
- All other personal data linked to your account
- Subscription management data - Your RevenueCat subscriber record, entitlements, and related events
Data Retained (if applicable)
In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain certain information:

Transaction records required for fraud prevention, tax, and audit purposes
- (Retained for up to 2 years as required by law)
- Legal compliance data - Information required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes
Note: App Store and Google Play billing history is maintained by Apple and Google respectively, not by BudgetReady. This billing history cannot be deleted by us and is subject to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
Timeline
Your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of receiving your verified deletion request.
You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion process is complete.
