Terms of Service

Welcome to BudgetReady (the “App”), operated by BudgetReady (“BudgetReady,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

BudgetReady is a personal budgeting application that helps you track spending, manage budgets and wallets, set goals, view insights and widgets, and optionally share access with household members through Together. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at our discretion.

BudgetReady is a budgeting and organization tool. It is not a bank, payment processor, investment adviser, or tax professional. We do not move money between financial institutions on your behalf.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required by local law).
You may create an account with email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
You may delete your account in the App (Settings → Account & data). Account deletion does not cancel store subscriptions by itself.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions (e.g. monthly or yearly) and free trials through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase (or after a free trial ends, unless you cancel).
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your store account settings.
Prices are shown in the App using the store’s localized price string when available.
Manage or cancel: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (or the in-app Subscription screen manage link).
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Payment processing and tax handling for in-app purchases are performed by the applicable app store, not by BudgetReady directly.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Violate any laws or regulations.
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except as allowed by law.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
Upload malware or unsolicited commercial content.
Use the Service for fraud or illegal activity.
Attempt to access another user’s data without authorization.

5. User Content

Content you enter (budgets, transactions, feedback, feature ideas) remains yours. You grant BudgetReady a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. Feedback you submit may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, branding, and related materials are owned by BudgetReady. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal devices in accordance with these Terms and store rules.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE SPECIFIC FINANCIAL OUTCOMES, UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUDGETREADY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR FINANCIAL DECISIONS YOU MAKE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BudgetReady and its officers, directors, and employees from claims and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BudgetReady operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.

13. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may also be communicated in the App.
